Sacred to the memory of THOMAS CORNES farmer of this parish who departed this life on the 20th day of July 1863 aged 48 years. This stone is erected by a few personal friends in token of their appreciation of his honest and obliging disposition as well in sympathy for his wife and daughter in their loss of so good a husband and father.
